where the flowers run wild

and the grass grows deep


lay your head, dear child

whispered prayers so mild

take your soul to bed


be at peace, lost child

be at peace

where the sun has set

there the pain will cease

for you and me are just dandelions we

yellow petaled weeds turned windswept

feathery
